- 7 ovos;
- 500 gramas de farinha
- 450 gramas de açúcar;
- 1 colher (de chá) de fermento em pó;
- 1 chávena de leite (250 ml);
- 250 gramas de manteiga amolecida;
- Ananás de conserva às rodelas q.b.
Caramelo:
- 250 gramas de açúcar;
- 1 dl da calda do ananás.
1. Pré-aqueça o forno a 180ºC.
Escolha uma forma grande (de preferência redonda e sem buraco, mas como podem ver também dá com buraco) e que possa ir ao lume, se a sua forma não puder ir ao lume, faça o caramelo numa panela. Nesta, coloque o açúcar e leve ao lume até ficar com um caramelo dourado, aí adicione o sumo de ananás e leve mais um pouco ao lume.

2. Barre a forma com o caramelo, e coloque as rodelas de ananás no fundo e na lateral.

3. Bata as claras em castelo e reserve.

4. Bata o açúcar com a manteiga e com o fermento. Misture as gemas e o leite, bata até envolver bem,

5. Envolva a farinha peneirada e por fim as claras em castelo.

6. Coloque a massa na forma e leve a cozer cerca de 1 hora. Para saber se está cozido, faça o teste do palito. O tempo de cozedura varia de forno para forno, até a forma utilizada influencia.

7. Depois de cozido deixe arrefecer um pouco. Desenforme ainda morno.
